WorldRemind in the Community

Being a commercial organisation, we do believe in playing an important and active role in supporting the local community.

Here are some of the activities we've supported in the past:

Singapore Arts Festival
"Are you Afraid of the Dark"

A non-profit professional theatre company that focuses on developing and presenting original new works, Action Theatre for it's refreshing approach in creating stage plays that explore topical and contemporary issues in an imaginative manner.

Founded in 1987 by its artistic director Ekachai Uekongtham, Action Theatre now operates from it new home at 42 Waterloo Street, a recently restored pre-war bungalow which house an intimate studio theatre, outdoor performances stages, classrooms, a book & CD shop and an Indo-Chinese Restaurant. A greenhouse for the future of Singapore theatre, 42 Waterloo Street is where Action Theatre presents an ongoing season of new works and new talents in addition to its main season of plays and musical at major theatre around Singapore.

Dance Fiesta 2001

Dance Fiesta is Singapore largest dance extravaganza ever organised by a student body. The event was held at Civic Plaza on 21st of July 2001 from 10am to 10pm and was jointly organised by NTU Cultural Activities Club - Modern Jazz and The Next Stage, School of Performing Arts. Programme for the event includes dance performance put up by schools and charitable organisations, dance classes for public, a largest friendship dance (mass dancing), skits and open air bash (Jam and Hop).
